On all Monday evenings from 6:30-9:30, all artist are invited to join our non instructed portrait/character sketch session in the portrait classroom. We have a live model each Monday. On the third Monday of each month, we have a nude model. Bring your sketch pad or canvas, your pastels, charcoal, or paints and join the group. It's a great way to build your drawing skills.

Absolute beginners enjoy working with professional portrait artist. The advice and technique can take your drawing to the next level as you practice your drawing skills. We learn to draw by drawing and practicing. Take advantage of this time with other artist and our wonderful Amarillo Art Institute models.

This is not a class and there is no instructor, but even absolute beginners benefit from these drawing sessions.
