Children's Art Classes
Acrylic Painting and 3D-Paper Mache For 10 and Up
Working with paints children develop their observational and technical skills while experimenting on canvas and paper. The children will learn the procedure beginning with brush and paint care, arrangement of colors on a palette, mixing specific colors, paint application, brush techniques and clean up.
Students will learn how to design and construct a structure of their choosing with armature and papier mâché. On the last day of camp the student can paint their creation however they choose. By experimenting on their creation children are developing their observational and technical skills. The only limit is your own imagination.
At the end of each camp, each child will have a piece of art worthy of displaying in your home. On the last day of camp, at 3 p.m. we will have an art show exhibiting their works of art.
Acrylic Painting and Collage for 6-9 Year Olds
When working with paints, children develop their observational and
technical skills while experimenting on canvas and paper. The learned
sequences of method and procedure begin with brush and paint care,

Collage making is an art project that almost everyone can succeed at.
Collages are pictures made by combining words and images in an unusual
arrangement to convey emotion. This is what makes it art. “Art”
differs from “drawing” in that it expresses some emotion. It makes the
person who sees it feel sad, happy, angry, wistful, lonesome, etc.
