We invite you and your friends to join us every First Friday Art Walk to experience the excitement of the galleries and our school! The Art Walks are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and also include live music and food. All ages are welcome.

Join us for a workshop with master pastellist and painter Stephanie Birdsall!
Stephanie’s workshop will be high energy, intense, fun, and rewarding. Conscious painting is about being conscious/thinking carefully about what you are doing, while you are doing it. This workshop fills in many blanks. It will concentrate on “clean” color, knowing your brush and how to make effective and descriptive strokes, composition, edges and values, bringing this all together.
Stephanie Birdsall, a member of Putney Painters, founded by Richard Schmid, works in both oil and pastel. She has been featured in many publications, on PBS, Galleries, Museums, and Plein Air events. She is also the recipient of over 50 awards. She is a member of OPA and a master Pastellist with PSA and IAPS. Her joy is in working from life, whether it is in the field or in her studio.
