May 12, 6pm-8pm & May 13, 9:30am-3pm
Rescheduled for August 25, 6pm-8pm & August 26, 9:30am-3pm
Alcohol Ink, developed about 10 years ago for crafters, is a new medium in the art world. The best AI artists have been painting with it for about 6 years. Alcohol Ink artists are now showing and winning in juried art shows and one is being shown in a solo show in the prestigious Morris Museum of Art and Science, Morristown, New Jersey. This interesting medium asks us to let go of control and co-create with it. Because of this, it stimulates creativity. It calls to beauty. And it touches something deep in our spirit.
Friday night instructor Nina Stein will introduce students to the medium and Saturday she will cover different techniques. If you are taking the class for a second time, Nina will work with you on some correction techniques and answer individual questions as time permits.
