Learn Paper Cutting With Tong

Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm-9:00pm, 2 1⁄2 hours per class, total is 8 classes in 4 weeks.
$190 class fee + $60 supply fee=$250 (Min. 4 students, Max. 6 students)

Age: 13 and older

These classes are designed to teach:

• Step by step basic to advanced paper cutting using knives and scissors;
• Step by step design creation;
• Step by step mounting and display
• Only 8 classes, 2 1⁄2 hours per class,4 weeks total; you will become a skilled paper cutting artist;
• Cost per person: $190 class fee + $60 supplies $250.00 (Min 4 students, Max 6 students. Age 13 and older).

Classes:

Class 1: Practice folding and cutting paper (Scissor cut symmetric cuttings, 4, 5, 6, 8-sided folding and cutting);
Class 2: Pattern cutting (knife cut, practice pattern cutting);
Class 3: Symmetric pattern cuttings;
Class 4: Folding and cutting pattern cuts (knife cut)
Class 5: Chain pattern cuttings;
Class 6: How to make your own cutting patterns;
Class 7: People pattern cuttings;
Class 8: Mounting your paper cuttings, and Chinese character pattern cuttings.

All supplies: ($60.00 supplies fees)

• Pointed Scissors,
• X-Acto Knife,
• Two side Self-healing Cutting mat (18” x 12”), 100 8” x 8” Color paper,
• 5 new #11 blades,
• Printed materials for class use
