Dyan Newton – ½-Day Acrylic Workshop

Master Workshops

Dyan Newton - Hecho in Mexico

Dyan Newton – Hecho in Mexico

Saturday May 10, 2014 9am-4pm
Thursday May 22, 2014 9am-4pm
Cost for workshop: $75 – Members, $60 – Non-Members
Level: Beginner to Advanced

In my workshop, I will be sharing with you my style and technique of painting with vivid, loose acrylic brushstrokes. I will be demonstrating and then you will be painting step-by-step following me, with individual instruction.  We will be able to complete a painting in the one-day workshop.

My acrylic workshop is for beginners and intermediate painters.

My list of paints consists of Golden and Liqutex, some fluid acrylics and some in the tube.  Some of the cheaper brands of acrylics do not work as well.

Looking forward to painting with you.

Dyan Newton has been painting for over 30 years, working in watercolors, pastels and oils. She has studied with well-known local and national artists. Throughout the years, Dyan has developed her own impressionistic style of painting, recognizable by her lively brushwork and bright, vivid colors. Her love of painting is evident whether she is painting landscapes, portraits, animals or florals. Visit Dyan’s website at dyannewton.com
