Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color, and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. There is no right or wrong in abstract art. Cale will be working with you in how to paint an abstract painting. You will learn to build an abstract foundation and fly as Cale leads you down the road to creative abstract painting heaven!
Cale Rogers is a self-taught painter and sculptor who lives and works in Amarillo, Texas. He has developed his own non-traditional style by mixing different mediums including drawing, painting and found objects. He is heavily influenced by the works of the Mid-Century artist. His work over the past two years has mainly been in sculpture, yet he enjoys abstract painting as a way to recharge his creativity.
