A workshop to help “non-artists and artists” on their grief journey. No matter where you are in your grief experience, these are activities and topics that can help with reflection and comfort. Journaling, collage and creative play are tried and true coping tools for exploring grief, as well as other complicated emotions. We will use artful engagement to process through some of the unbearable places of the pain of loss. Topics will include honor, grace for the pace, the hole in your heart, breathing again, a new normal and seeing in full color. .
This class will utilize the therapeutic benefits of the process of honoring memories, letting go of regrets and learning the truth that both loss and joy can co-exist in the heart. You will find that getting things out of your mind and on to paper will help you to have hope as you continue the process. You are not alone. Come and join us as we journey together.
This class is taught by a griever for the grieving. All supplies provided, but please bring several photographs of your loved one.
