Take Time to Look - Michael LonghoferBrushes

Brushes come in many different sizes, styles, shapes, types and textures. Picking them can be overwhelming. Just get student grade to begin with, upgrade if you become more serious about painting. The brushes are your choice; the list below is a good place to start. You can never have too many brushes. You will find ones you love and not so much. 6 to 8 brushes in a variety of sizes and shapes are what you need to get started. Student Grade Brush packs or sets can be purchased online for a reasonable price. I even found a variety pack of assorted artist brushes at Wal-Mart for super cheap.
